Network Fees
Do I need to pay network (gas) fees when sending or receiving via Nexus?
Almost all blockchain transactions require network fees. These fees are paid to the blockchain network and are not retained by Nexus. When sending cryptocurrency, you must hold the network’s native token to pay the fee (for example, if you want to send USDT on the Ethereum network, ETH is required to cover the transaction fee.).
Do I need to pay network fees for failed transactions?
Yes. Network fees cover the resources used to process a transaction on the blockchain. Regardless of whether a transaction succeeds or fails, the network fee is consumed and cannot be refunded by Nexus.
Security Tips
How does the Hardware Wallet Connect to Nexus?
You can refer to this guide to connect to Nexus. The QR code on the Keystone hardware wallet used to connect to Keystone Nexus only contains public key information and device identifiers for establishing the connection, like any 3rd party software wallet we have integrated. This information does not involve and cannot derive your private key. Your wallet‘s private keys always remain securely stored within the hardware wallet and are never sent through the QR code or online, so they will never be exposed.
Can Assets Sent to the Wrong Address be Recovered?
No. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed or changed, and assets sent to the wrong address cannot be directly recovered. Please double-check the recipient address before sending any assets.
