How to connect Keystone with Nightly (Mobile)

In this tutorial, you will learn how to establish a connection and explore the basic features of the Nightly wallet.

Preparation for Connection​

Before you begin, please make sure you have completed the following preparations:

  • Download and install Nightly (version 2.8.30 or higher)
  • Ensure your Keystone device is ready and has the latest firmware installed (version 1.6.4 or higher)

Create a Wallet​

Step 1: Create One Wallet First​

Tip: You need to have a Nightly wallet first before connecting Keystone to a Nightly wallet. If you already have a Nightly wallet, you can skip to 2) .

  • Open the Nightly app, select [Create new wallet], and set a password.
  • Copy the generated seed phrase and store it securely. Then click [Next], and set up the network, language, and wallet name.

  • Click [Save and Continue], and your first wallet will be successfully created!

Step 2: Create a Keystone Wallet​

  • Click on the top left corner and switch from [Solana] to [Sui].

  • Click on the top left corner again > Click on [+ New Account] to create a new wallet.
  • Select [Connect hardware wallet] > [Keystone Wallet].

  • Scan the QR code to connect your Keystone, select the wallet you need, and click [Next].

  • Your keystone wallet has been successfully created!

Send Tokens​

  • Click [Send] on the main page, enter the cryptocurrency type, recipient address, and amount. Then click [Next].

  • Confirm the transaction information, and a transaction QR code will appear on Nightly.
  • On Keystone, tap the scan icon on the Keystone to scan the QR code displayed on Nightly to transmit the signed transaction data. A signed QR code will appear on the device.
  • On Nightly, click [Get Signature] and scan the signature QR code displayed on Keystone.

  • Done! You have successfully sent your Sui to another address.

After connecting Keystone with Nightly, you can easily send funds while still enjoying all the features of Nightly.

As a hardware wallet, Keystone protects your assets, and all transactions bound to it require Keystone’s signature. Additionally, you can explore and use various online features of Nightly to meet your basic needs.
