How to connect Keystone with the Babylon
Step 1: Preparation
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- Firmware version BTC-only 1.1.0 or later running on Keystone 3 Pro.
- The dApp can be accessed through the official website.
Step 2: Connecting Your Keystone with Babylon dApp
1. Launch the Babylon dApp
- Choose [Connect Wallet] on the homepage
- Click [Allow] to grant access to computer webcam requests, then wait for the scan.
2. Connect Keystone with Babylon
- On your Keystone hardware wallet, select the [...] in the top right corner of the main interface.
- Choose the [Connect software wallet] option.
- Select [Sparrow], and a QR code will be displayed.
- In the Babylon dApp, scan the QR code displayed on your Keystone.
Step3: Stake BTC with your Keystone Hardware Wallet
1. Staking BTC transactions on the Babylon dApp
- Choose [Sync Keystone BTC] on the top right corner of the homepage
- Choose the finality provider and enter the amount of BTC for staking in Babylon.
- Preview the staking details and then click [Staking]
- Then will display a QR Code to get signature
2. Get Signature from Keystone Hardware Wallet
- Select the QR code scanning icon at the bottom right of the home page.
- Scan the QR code displayed by the Babylon dApp of requesting a signature > Confirm Transaction Information > [Swipe to confirm]> Keystone Hardware Wallet will display a QR code again.
3. Back to Babylon dApp
- The Babylon dApp will display a scan page to obtain a signature. Use your computer's webcam to scan the signature QR code displayed on the Keystone device.
- The staking was successful!
